Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Honey Shelf, the manufacturing and inventory intelligence service available at honeyshelf.ai and app.honeyshelf.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the business you represent.
1. The Service
Honey Shelf helps consumer brands plan and track production: it monitors sales velocity, drafts production orders and material purchase orders, manages bills of materials and suppliers, tracks work through a six-stage pipeline with QC gates, and syncs inventory two-way with Shopify. We continually improve the Service, which means features may be added, changed, or retired; we will not materially reduce the core functionality of your paid plan during a billing period.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store data you have no right to hold;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to access other customers' data;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written agreement;
- share one account's credentials across an entire team instead of buying seats (add seats — they're cheap; being locked out mid-production-run is not).
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Free trial. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required, and nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends — you actively pick a plan to continue.
- Plans. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance. Annual billing is priced at ten times the monthly rate — two months free.
- Currency. Indian customers are billed in INR with GST invoices generated automatically; international customers are billed in USD.
- Changes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at your next billing date. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
- Price changes. If we change plan pricing, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice, and changes apply from the next renewal.
4. Your data
You own your data. Everything you put into the Service or connect via Shopify — products, orders, BOMs, suppliers, production records — remains yours. You can export it at any time, including as XLSX files. We use it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we never use it to train AI models. If you close your account, your workspace stays readable for 60 days so you can export everything.
5. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service available and performant, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and scheduled maintenance or factors beyond our control (including third-party services such as Shopify's API) may cause downtime. Recommendations produced by the Service — reorder suggestions, forecasts, Copilot answers — are decision support, not guarantees; production decisions remain yours.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honey Shelf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data — arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Termination
You can cancel anytime from your account settings; your subscription runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, with notice and a chance to remedy where practical — immediate suspension is reserved for abuse that threatens the Service or other customers. On termination, the 60-day export window in section 4 applies.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We'd rather fix your problem than see you in court — write to us first.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
